Have a Smooth and Flavorful Grass Fed Steak

Grass fed steak is an incredibly popular meal these days, which is no surprise as it has some amazing benefits! However, there are also things that you should know if you want to cook this type of meat properly. In this article, we will discuss how to season your grassfed steak beforehand so that it's flavourful when cooked, as well as the best way to go about cooking it.


First off, before anything else prepare yourself with a frying pan or griddle on low heat - don't put any oil in the pan just yet! If you have other kinds of oils then feel free to use those instead but get rid of lard because of its high saturated fat content.


Next, season the steak with your favorite spices such as salt and pepper. Doing this beforehand will allow time for them to spread evenly throughout the grassfed meat which means that when it's cooked you'll have an even amount of flavor in each bite!


Once fully seasoned pat dry any excess moisture before adding oil to the pan - if there is too much water on the outside then it might cause things like sizzle or splatter. Make sure not to add anything else just yet because we want a nice crispy surface first so that when cooked through it won't be tough!


After cooking both sides for about four minutes per side (sixteen total) take out from heat and leave covered for ten-fifteen minutes. This technique helps keep all the juices inside and doesn't dry it out.
